Turning back the clock to 2012, President Barack Obama took a shot at defeated rival Mitt Romney.

Speaking about how funding education ought to be a bipartisan idea during remarks in Scranton, Pa., Obama suggested the same should be the case with his signature health care law.

“These are ideas that should have bipartisan support,” Obama said of his education priorities. “Of course, so should Obamacare, it’s actually a really good idea. It’s going to work. It used to be a Republican idea. There’s a governor of Massachusetts who set it up. It’s working well.”

Well the GOP asked for it. And they paid how many millions and millions to get it? To say nothing of all the conservatives they trashed?

They deserve to have their noses rubbed in it.

Well, it's not a "Republican" idea. It's Romney's idea.

And no matter how many times Obama says it, it's not going to work. Basic economic principles guarantee that. It's also not working well in Massachusetts or anywhere else.

The only surprise is that the Democrats somehow managed to engineer a health care system that's actually worse than the one that it replaced. The only "plus" here is that enough primary care physicians are abandoning insurance payments for the self-pay / "concierge" practice model that we might actually get some free market forces introduced to health care at long last. But this is not something that was intended, and the overall health care costs should continue on a ballistic trajectory.

As the bag knows, you can’t do Romneycare at the federal level - it’s unconstitutional, plus unworkable as all the modifications have shown. Did Massachusetts have to do all these waivers, delays, and guttings? The commerce clause doesn’t permit congress to regulate inactivity, which the court correctly admitted, and the direct tax clause requires the individual mandate to be levied in proportion tho the census, not randomly, which the court erroneously failed to see.

Hey Romney - I hope you got the message from your partner in crime. You are both LIARS and DESTROYERS of America and Americans. See NEWT lately?

The people that tell us everyday Republicans are wrong on everything, they praise us for the failed idea of a failed liberal republican, and an idea that no Republican in Congress voted for.

If Obama isn’t turning straws into men, he’s grasping at them.

His timing is all wrong.

Romney, McCain and Obama probably have 35% approval in GOP house districts. Why doesn’t Pryor or Barrow campaign with him? Everything RINO Reince is hearing is that they are scared of being primaried. That is why Reince is doing something acceptable to his handlers and to the GOP base.
