China says no side should pre-judge Syria chemical probe

(Reuters) - China said on Friday that no side should rush to pre-judge the results of any probe by U.N. chemical weapons experts in Syria, after Syria's opposition accused government forces of using such weapons in an attack on civilians.....

Assad would be stupid to use chemical weapons close to where the UN observers were staying just a few days after the UN observers arrived.

Getting to the bottom of who used the weapons won’t be easy. With the Brotherhood getting their ass kicked in Egypt, it was time to draw attention somewhere else.

I believe the chemical weapons came from Iraq.
I also believe when your enemies are trying to destroy each other you sit back and let them. Lastly, if we step in, how long before the offended side turns these weapons on US?

“Who you gonna believe?”

Well you could just water board a couple of suspected participants on either side . . . Uh, never mind.

The USA is too gullible to lead the world. The Muslim Brotherhood has no compunctions about killing civilians for photo ops that will get us involved if it will save their butts

Let's see... your side (Assad) is winning the war so let's do something really beyond the pale, so stupid and unnecessary...to bring possible USA and Europe power into the fray...

Yup, that Assad is one dumb SOB...to use nerve gas on innocent children...

Do I even need a / S

That is the question. Who do we believe?
Assad? Rebels (Muslim Brotherhood)? Obama? John McCain? American Government? UN? News Media?
Sorry folks, there is not one trustworthy name on that list.

A bit difficult to understand why Assad would feel the need to kill what are effectively civilian populations with nerve agents. The potential for it to galvanize international interference would seem a great risk.

On the other hand the “rebels” are a motley mix of characters that include people certainly capable of trying to buy international sympathy by pulling a stunt like this.

No WMD's being moved into Syria .. nothing to see here ... move along.

Those trucks were hauling baby clothes and formula.

I have a hard time giving a damn which side is doing it. If these people were not killing each other they would be killing somebody else. I think Mohammed tapped into the roots of insanity when he came up with his masterpiece.

I find it intriguing that in the old testament God would often destroy Israel’s enemies by having them fight amongst themselves, and what do we see in Egypt and Syria in our modern times?... Psalm 38 is supposed to be a Prophecy about Damascus being destroyed and uninhabitable... leaking chemical weapons stockpiles?
