Concerning the issue of trusting Coburn - well, that is looking more doubtful every day, but he shouldn’t feel too bad. He has a LOT of company ;)
I know. We have a misinformation campaign to navigate and it takes razor sharp eyes and ears to keep up. Who can do it 100% of the time.
Twisting the facts and skewering any semblance of accuracy is epidemic in the quest to ambush, marginalize and define our side.
Sadly, Coburn had to know the truth (if he read Mark,’s book) when he said it.
Same thing is happening to efforts for defunding Obamacare. The R’s and the D’s sell it as defunding the entire government. Our guys have never considered “shutting down the government”, but who would know that, the way media cherry picks picks the sources twisting the truth.
