Hours before dying in a fiery car crash, Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings told his neighbor he believed his Mercedes had been tampered with, according to a report.

Where was he going at 4:30am in LA?

Let's ask the 2 cops who got ambushed in the driveway of their police station on the SAME STREET, at the EXACT SAME TIME of night, a week later..... within blocks ahead of the Hastings crash.

Perhaps he called the police in a panic (meth-induced or otherwise) and got some detective on duty at 4am.... at Wilshire Community police station (on my map), and that’s why he was driving Southbound directly toward it.

If you're convinced you're "about to be killed" you'd probably figure "Rush to the police station b/c the local cops aren't going to stand there and just watch while I get murdered."

NOTE: A week later, outside THAT SAME police station, at almost the SAME EXACT TIME (4am), a gunman walks up behind an unmarked police car returning to the police station garage..... and opens fire, grazing/hitting the 2 officers inside the car.

Perhaps one (or both) cops inside that car (at 4am) were on-shift the prior week at the same time, 4am.

Perhaps they saw something before/during/after the accident.

Perhaps they know a call came in from Hastings.

Perhaps they even spoke to him.

Personally, I think he was heading toward LAX to catch an early 6/7am flight out of town.

Remember, he was in a panic, sending emails about “going off the radar,” and he’s “being investigated by the FBI.”

Coincidences are stacking up. WHO ambushes policemen at 4am in the DRIVEWAY of a police station, unless they urgently need to shut those cops up?

So, KEY QUESTION: Where the hell was he driving FROM/TO at 4:30AM in Los Angeles?

#1 LAX.

#2 POLICE STATION (Wilshire Community Station).

My guess is LAX to catch early 6-7am flight out of town (probably to Europe since he spoke w/Wikileaks the prior day).

Wow, your analyis has persuaded me that there’s nothing suspcicious AT ALL about Hastings’ car exploding and sending the engine block 150 feet from the crash.

Just kidding, it sounds like you want folks to believe this crash was just “random.”

Please collect your check from John Brennan’s secretary.

The security video of the crash supposedly shows Hastings traveling approx 35-45 mph at the moment of impact.

That’s what happened to LA County Coroner technician, Michael Cormier, the same day his office released the Breitbart autopsy report to the public.

Look. I myself posted the thread where the coroner cremated his body against the family’s wishes thereby eliminating any further chances for a second autopsy. That was HIGHLY suspicious. I smelled a cover up then and I do believe officials are lying.

Thats whay they do.

But you have to counter these theories of yours with the facts. And the fact is... Hastings was stoned to the bone nutz.

Politics aside, this guy was a talented writer. The article he did on the General a couple years ago was excellent work, even though I disagree with much of the tactics and the purpose of his writing it. The guy was not messing around the research he was doing when he died.

I asume you would agree that one of two things happened?

1. He (because of drugs, mental health issues or both) was paranoid and/or made this all up and then staged his own death; OR

2. He was killed by somebody other than himself.

Keep in mind it’s shot from a fisheye security cam.

My personal guess is 45mph.

50mph max.

He’s not going ‘65mph’ in that video.

If you hit a tree at 50mph, how does the engine block get around (behind) the tree and keep going another 150 feet, detached from the car?

I think the engine block got “detached” from the car or at least the car was structurally weakened PRIOR to the crash.

If you’re planning to stage an accident, weakening the car in advance is a good idea, so the guy actually dies.

Explosives planted in the car would explain the flash shown in the video (just prior to hitting the tree, NOTE the flash inside the cabin).

If I had to choose an automobile brand to “survive a bad crash in,” I’d choose Mercedes, b/c Benzes don’t shatter like pinatas when they hit something.
