Zing!
Was Churchill an inveterate liar? I don’t seem to recall him losing the trust of his country by consistently lying and stabbing his people in the back. What Churchill did saved England and the world. What Rubio did could mean the end of this nation as we know it. To top it all off he lied repeatedly in order to sell his country and its people short. In no way shape or form did Churchill even come close to the Rubio’s perfidy.
Churchill may have gone against the popular will of his country. But he had the safety and security of his nation in mind when he “made mistakes.” Those kind of mistakes can easily be forgiven. But Rubio knew what he was doing when he lied to get elected. His actions were completely self serving and no mistake. He could not care less about this sovereign country.
Rubio believed that whatever he did would be forgotten by election time in 2016 and like sheep, conservatives could be herded into the polling booth to re-elect him. At the very least, he and the GOPe hoped they could use him to sell out conservatives and push amnesty across the goal line. From there they imagined that some of the newly fabricated citizens would find a way to help keep Marco in office.
That is what the filthy RINOs hoped. But conservatives are not like democrats. We don’t knuckle under and do things just because someone labeled conservative orders us to do so. Rubio is a sell out and a lying traitor. There is no coming back from that.
Your comparing Rubio to Churchill is similar to Romney comparing himself to Reagan. You make Churchill look bad in the comparison to make Rubio look better. It didn’t work when GOPe RINO Romney tried it, nor does it work when you do it.
Get out of Allen West’s Senate seat, Rubio !
I do not compare Rubio to Churchill except to make the point that the twists and turns of history and politics can revitalize stalled political careers. Otherwise, like you, I am deeply critical of Rubio on the immigration issue.
Rubio is one and done, as a Republican.
He will probably attempt to follow the footsteps of the man he “defeated” in his first election, Mr. R(ino)/I/D Charlie Crist.
The “GOPe Party” is done.
The people are rising and are not happy.
I voted for him because I trusted that he had real conservative values.
His selling U.S. Citizens’ votes and tax support to foreign criminals for their votes (therefore supporting a larger kleptocracy) has made me a staunch and permanent enemy.
Also, I'm tired of the ‘political analysis’.
Being political, it's based on lies and is usually practiced by those who are trying to make their lies effective, so none of it can be trusted.
I'll make up my own mind and pray there are enough of us to keep the U.S.A. from the brink, turn it around and reestablish Constitutional governments. My gut tells me rubio won't be part of that group.
Buuump!
He’s alienated this Tea Partier.
