I think every state should have a searchable database of legal petition signatures. I don’t need to see every name, I just want to know if my name is on petitions I did sign and even more important, make sure my name isn’t on petitions I didn’t sign.

Last year lots of names got the wildly pro union referendums on our ballot but on election day, far fewer people voted for those union issues than signed the petition.
