The self-employed who go out of business because of the bad economy do not count in the governments unemployment stats and that is a lot of people.

In another time - even ten years ago - yes, folks would be mad as hell.

The completed socialist take over of our education system, combined with *FREE STUFF* makes the tonic that keeps them all "happy".

And we all find ourselves supporting lazy-assed slimeballs like that POS surfer boy in CA. It aggravates the hell out of me.

The real unemployment rate is around 15%. If you were to include all the freeloaders now claiming disability, the number would likely be around 20%. These are sad times. Many people have to work multiple low-paying, part-time jobs just to get by.

Now it’s has touched my family - it’s serious

Recession is when your neighbor loses his job

Depression is when you lose you job

Doesn’t surprise me. My hubby is being forced to retire. My sister just got laid off..my daughter can not find a job.

Many members of my extended family have been without work for extended periods of time. Others retired early. I started a part-time business six years ago, which will keep us afloat. I got laid off about a year ago. Carter's term seems like heaven in comparison.

“The completed socialist take over of our education system, combined with *FREE STUFF* makes the tonic that keeps them all “happy”.”

In other words, most of our “citizens” are worthless bums who have been bought off by the siren song of the “free lunch,” or they are worthless union thugs who don’t give two hoots in hell about anyone but themselves. Bankrupting their country is o.k. just so long as they can live off of the rest of us. May they “hurry” to their graves for what they have done!

Hey, but the dollar’s propped up for investors with government incomes. We don’t need no steenkeeng revenues from production.

That’s me here. Young couples have no money to spend on their weddings anymore.
