Nothing ticks me off more than hearing some lifer in politcial office or head of a government bureacracy being fawned over for their years of sacrifice as a public servant. Now we have schools being named after retired public school superintendents. All these people, particularly those in charge of governemnt schools, are overpaid, and almost every politician retires as a millionaire with benefits that we peons can only dream of.
The Clintons represent the worst of this. They are treated like royalty instead of being snubbed as the money-grubbing, crooked, pretentious weasels that they are.
I hear you...The Clinton’s, as you say, are a prime example but I’d guess the Obama’s won’t take a back seat to them, look at the hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars they’ve spent already on themselves.
