It is quite easy when you handover a story of corruption to them. You can harldy play the role of hypocrite by defending Democrat crimes and then engage in the same crimes yourself.

Ted Cruz can and already should have killed this problem instantly and responsibly by publicly acknowledging his own ineligibility and condemning Obama and the Democrats for their own eligibility crimes. AS it is now, Sen. Cruz is utterly destroying his own credibility by failing to take responsibility for this issue.

I agree with you. I like Cruz, but he failed here.
And I am surprised that so many conservatives don’t understand that for our side, if there is something in your life that the enemy can make hay with - even if it’s that your wife’s cousin is a pedophile - don’t run, because all the attention is going to go to that.
Which is why I think it was a big mistake for Sarah Palin to run when her daughter was pregnant and unmarried. Imagine the campaign if that girl had been going to college as a math major - no headlines about her, no David Letterman jokes. All the focus on the issues.
