At first Paul would only say that Christie was very precise in his assertion that you have to win before you can govern. But then the gloves came off. In other words, say anything, do anything, get elected first, and deceive the people in order to get elected, Paul said. He accused both parties of saying whatever they think they have to say to get elected, but predicted those days are coming to an end.
And then he said,”Damn it’s like he reads my mind and copies my thoughts”

I don’t think Ron Paul has ever “said what he had to say to get elected”.
If anything he would of benifited from at least keping his mouth shut about some of his ideas.
I don’t agree with a lot of what he said, but I believe that what he says he means. I’m also a fan of his stand on fiscal policy.
The people in his district must of liked what he had to say because they kept electing him. Of course just up the road from his old district people keep re-electing Sheila Jackson Lee.
