Heck everyone brings AR-15`s, 30-30`s, 30 06`s etc into the bars here all the time during hunting season. It`s the common practice here -

Everyone who has a long gun should carry it all the time. That would put some folks panties in a knot, but so what? What people post on FR makes many people uncomfortable. So what? Freedom makes many uncomfortable.

..These people are out of touch with reality and their own country. Nor have they been out to West Texas, many parts of wooded East and Central Texas and many parts of Southwest Texas. Some folks need to see how the rest of Texans live. Heck, even where I live (just 45 miles North of Houston) I sometimes open carry w/o incident. It isn't all that unusual.
