They say he’s hiding at home. There was an article today about his being off camera and out of the scene.
he’s not at home hiding. He’s in the Hamptons.
Back in the ‘70s the Hamptons was a place to go to visit a grandmother. Okay, a wealthy grandmother, but that’s a very good kind of grandmother, summering in the Hamptons in the old summer house Grandpa or some other family member had purchased when one could do so.
Then the fast money people found out about it and the well mannered quiet maintained deserved retreat is now gone. Taken a dive. And the prices are prohibitive.
Joe Biden. What is a career public servant doing summering in the Hamptons?
If he wants to blast his or someone else’s money then he can be a capitalist. But he’s not some statesman or Founding Father type, serving some limited term and going back to a career.
When these guys go to the Hamptons there is serious money we are talking about. He’s not staying in some time share with his wife and pets. He’s got an entourage. And whoever is putting him in there expects payback.
It’s like, what is Caroline Kennedy doing claiming $500,000,000.00? Her husband is a lawyer. Did her grandfather’s fortune come from his building railroads a la Vanderbilt or contribute anything nearly as worthwhile as Carnegie?
Surely her father didn’t make that kind of money as a public servant, not legally or ethically.
Her mother’s people did not have that kind of money. She was fabulous but not from that kind of money.
Anyway, Biden should have “the real grifters of the Hamptons” show or “South Shore”.
He and his bad hair walk to the beach with their sand shovels and then get snubbed at a restaurant because his brain is fried.
Nothing against him personally, I just don’t like him and his kind thinking they can go around spending money like inebriated vacationers of the people he works for (us)
