Both ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today covered the bizarre story on their August 16 programs, but both neglected to mention Thornsbury's party affiliation.
On the bright side, they don't have to wonder why they've lost their viewers.
Bigger issue to me is abuse of power and public trust. Used to be that people in public office were to set positive examples. Seems that today’s office holders are there to see how much they can get away with and how much they can enrich their friends.
