In the olden days when I too was young and invincible, I always bought health care insurance even though I didn’t have much money and it meant not buying other things. Back then if you didn’t pay for medical services, you didn’t get them.
Yep and I had Blue Cross which was not like it is now. You paid up front and then had to fill out paperwork to be reimbursed. The horror!
