A friend of mine said Seattle is full of left wingers that appear to be normal people but are complete mental cases.

He took a company truck into Seattle that had the logo of an oil company on the doors.

He parked, got out of the truck and started to go into a store when people started walking toward his truck like a bunch of Zombies.

The mob attacked his truck, kicked in the doors, broke out all the glass, jumped on the hood and top of the cab.

Pretty much totaled the truck.

The mob then walked off and went back to what they were doing acting as if it never happened.

He called the police and the police said it was his fault for having an oil company logo on side of the truck.

I have a hard time believing that. The police might have said that is WHY the truck was attacked, but I doubt they would say it was "his fault." If the cop did say that, he is far from the norm for even Seattle police, and should be fired.

Yes, even though the crime had a specifically racial motive and no other motive - the assailant refused the victim's wallet. It could not be more open-and-shut, yet no hate crime is charged.

Not in this case. Washington is a fairly stong "shall issue" state, and has been for quite a long time.

As eff'd up liberal this state is, it has a very strong right to keep and bear arms in its Constitution:

SECTION 24 RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired, but nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing individuals or corporations to organize, maintain or employ an armed body of men.

That strong language has kept many a gun control bill from being enacted. As Wonder Warthog says, we are a "shall issue" state for concealed carry licenses. If you are an upstanding citizen not in trouble with the law, you cannot be turned down. You don't have to say why you want the license (I wrote "Because" in the space for reason). We also have a very strong preemption law that has stopped Seattle liberals from enacting tough gun control in Seattle that isn't in line with the Constitution.

Indeed, but I would wish to politely suggest that the traits he exhibits in this instance are rather standard and, I would suggest, entirely expected for a race-obsessed white Seattle Lefty.  I will be interested to learn if the victim even presses charges or shows up in court as a witness.  Doing so would brand him a "turncoat" among his Lefty friends, who would accuse him of "aiding in the oppression of an already downtrodden African American man".  He needs to distance himself from the matter entirely in order to be invited to all of the "correct" cocktail parties in the future.
