Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin slammed what she called Sen. Marco Rubios (R-FL) latest rationale for passing comprehensive immigration reform; that President Barack Obama will enact reforms unilaterally with or without the GOPs support. She called Rubios latest plea to conservatives craven and said that he should go down fighting against immigration reform rather than conceding that those reforms were already fait accompli.
-snip-
To argue to conservatives who believe in limited government that we should pass this massive amnesty monstrosity because Obama is going to do it anyway smacks of the worst kind of political expedience, she continued. I think that Marco Rubios higher ambitions have clouded his brain,

I love Michelle Malkin.
She is tenacious.
So is she wrong or is Levin? Because Levin called Rubio, his friend, a ‘true conservative”.
Both cannot be right.
I love Michelle Malkin. She’s usually correct, and her arguments are well supported.
However, America is so far gone that a conservative commentator is viewed in the same light as David Duke.
Unless the liberal media attacks, Americans don’t even notice.
The correct descriptive is “treacherous tyrant “
Except, when playing against the race card in rejoinder to say, Dingy Harry, when it must be “treacherous black tyrant”
Easy one. Levin is wrong—just as he was about Hatch and Ryan.
Should be an easy one, but wait until his fanclub shows up to explain away that little detail. They always do.
If they would admit he screwed up and if HE would admit he screwed up, conservatism would be a lot better off. But until people start holding him and Beck and the rest to a standard, It’s no different than Kardashian celeb worship.
Michelle Malkin is right on target regarding Rubio.
I don’t think Levin is sticking by the impression he shared of Rubio before Schumer co-opted him.
Mark Levin has sold out unfortunately. I count myself a former Levin fan, I turned against Levin when I heard him cut the Liberal Republican Rubio so much slack.
Mark Levin has a depressing demeanor, so I’m much happier not listening to him!
He earned it.
Good for Malkin!
Then he should say so. And apologize for the harm he did to America.
it’s like saying that if some guy is gonna rape you, you better undress yourself
The basic conflict is between those who want Liberty and those who want Totalitarianism.
For over a century various names have been applied by the advocates of Totalitarianism to their groups such as Progressive, Socialist, and Communist.
All such names are based on the King-Slave Style of governance.
The last King-Slave System practiced in America was the Plantation System which ended in a horrific Civil War, and consequences that we are still recovering from today.
Currently, the King-Slave Model has been sold to America as a Safety Net, and eagerly embraced by the 47 % who pay no person homage to their King.
The 53 % are being led by Republicans who are afraid of EFFECTIVELY opposing the King.
Hence, we have a watershed position in time rapidly approaching where we, the 53 % who pay our personal Federal Income Taxes, must choose between changing the Leaders of the Republican Party, or continue to financially support these same cowardly leaders.
Partial Government control is Socialism.
There is partial Liberty with Socialism.
Total Government control is Communism.
There is no Liberty with Communism.
Conservatives are dedicated to conserving Liberty.
The Federal politicians who support whole or partial Government control are either Socialists or Communists.
Conservatives should not donate money or time to these Socialists or Communists.
Will you LEAD, follow, or get out of the way?
Our sorry Democrats and RINOs in Congress have chosen to follow as America continues to not oppose The Man in The Big House at 1600 Plantation Avenue, in the District of Corruption.
What say all of you?
fooled me once marco ya piec of crap.
Won’t happen again.
Up yours marco ya punk.
Maybe he’s following this and will do so soon.
Wish he would. He has done a lot of good for conservatism in the past. But his support of the man heading the amnesty push is pathetically stupid.
She is great - and not afraid to speak her mind.
