Just for fun, another possibility would be to alter the contract and sign and send in the altered version. Example provisions would include promising to teach all of your children gun safety via gun safety courses that include safe handling and live shooting exercises, which of course is the best way to teach the dangers and values of gun usage and ownership.
I think teenagers are gonna do whatever impulse hits them unless they have a lot of self discipline.
I think the contract is stupid. I don’t think our children would attend school there if we lived in the district. However, the options in Tucson are not good. The nuttiness is rampant!
Blow your nose on it and send it back.
There’s great options in Tucson, we’re one of the charter school capitals of the country. Just takes some legwork.
“...I will keep any guns and all weapons under lock and away from school grounds and away from my children.***
Anyone see Disney’s TREASURE ISLAND? Long John Silver gives Jim a LOADED pistol! Jim fondles the pistol! then sticks it in his belt!
I don’t remember the audience fainting or wetting their pants when Jim was given the pistol.
You’re not the astute one Petitfour...you took an obvious response of mine and invented that I would want guns in the hands of thugs. It was dishonest at best and disingenuous now.
My high school had a gun club...kids BROUGHT THEM TO SCHOOL when they attended the club...my how times have changed and should not have.
I like the way you think.

This is going to end badly. Flowing Wells HS has one of the 3 best JROTC air-rifle teams in the State of Arizona.
:)
You don’t know much about the kinds of thugs that show up for school every day at Tucson schools. School is a business opportunity and recruiting ground for more thugs and more distributors. It is sad.
There are good teenagers to be found there. They even go hunting before school during hunting season. But unfortunately, they are not allowed to take their hobby with them to school.
