Liberal activist Cindy Sheehan, the activist mother of a slain Iraq solider who ran as the vice presidential candidate for the Peace and Freedom Party alongside Roseanne Barr, announced last week that she’s throwing her hat in the ring for a shot at being the next governor of California.
Speaking at a Green Party rally in Wisconsin, Miss Sheehan proudly declared that she’s a Socialist, and she’s “not going to be ashamed to say it,” EAGnews.org first reported.
“One of my biggest inspirations is President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela,” she added, receiving applause. “He convinced [citizens] that they could take power into their own hands and work with him to improve their own lives, and that’s what happened.”
“And so that’s my inspiration. Getting everybody involved,” she said.
Miss Sheehan didn’t get into specifics on her plan for California, but said, “If you’re not happy, why do you keep voting for those [expletives]?

Would it be too unkind of me to hope and wish for Shee-it to soon rejoin her hero, Chavez?

I just imagine Cindy’s dead soldier son is ashamed he has any connection to his “mother.”

I give her credit for at least admitting she’s a socialist, now if only the rest of our politicians can admit it.
I’d call it a perfect match. How’s her Spanish? She’d be a shoe in if she were fluent. Just imagine the business she would seize in name of the state..er...ah...people.
This woman is severely disturbed and deserves our prayers.
She has chosen the wrong side of history because she has succumbed to her grief, believing that a socialist utopia will heal a world that allowed her son to die.
She looks to the world instead of God for healing and as a result is greatly deceived.
I haven’t heard from that old chestnut in some time. She’s like a bad penny that keeps turning up.
For someone so consumed with hate I would have thought Satan was her inspiration...
So in other words, she is admitting she is main stream in the Democrat party. At least she is honest about her treason.
I wouldn’t laugh. I think we’re gonna be horrified to learn how many Californians support the Hugo Chavez model.
LOL! Hugo Chavez is her hero and she doesn’t have a clue what that says about her.

She hasn’t “succumbed” to her guilt, she is USING her dead son for her advantage. It’s all about her ...... NOT her dead son.
