Social media accounts belonging to the 16-year-old California girl have been updated with multiple photographs and lengthy posts talking about the kidnapping, the six-day manhunt that ensued and how she feels guilty about her mother and brother's death.Guess I should have quoted the source. Language is strange how it conveys things not said.

As a one-time 16 year old California girl I’d call it an accurate statement. Shallow, vapid, self-absorbed...that’s I would describe myself at 16 and that was also typical of my circle of friends.
What’s despicable is that it’s true.
