Despite seeing an increase in unemployment over June, the unemployment rate in Mexico as of July, 2013 sat at 4.99%.
According to unemployment statistics, unemployment in the United States has been over 7.5% since President Barack Hussein Obamas inauguration in 2009.
Despite continuing promises of laser-like focus on the economy, critics note that little has been done by the Obama administration...

I’ve always been curious about the percentage of the unemployed who have jobs with the underground economy whether its off-the-books jobs or drug dealing. I’ve heard in the past that as much as ten percent of the U.S. economy is underground, and presumably it employs a substantial number of people.
I suppose if “drug cartel operative” is a job title, that would drive up Mexican employment numbers. Policemen and politicians on the take might be counted as two jobs.
El Chapo Guzman, the head of the Sinaloa drug cartel, is a Forbes-listed billionaire.
Fair enough but Obama’s still trying to run the US economy into the ground IMO...
Yeah, but there’s no ‘safety net’ in Mexico that offers $30,000 a year for sitting on one’s butt... might be why most Mexicans are employed. And the reason they come here? Jobs that pay a dollar an hour...

He counts as employed.
High unemployment in the US is a new Obama plan for reducing illegal immigration. At least that is what Representative Sheila Jackson Lee. Representing the 18th District of Texas will say.:>)

Actually that’s inaccurate. He’s done lots about the economy. He’s flushed trillions of dollars down the drain, he’s closed up coal mines and slowed down oil production on federal lands. He’s stopped the Keystone pipeline from being built. He let loose the epa and Irs on productive businesses and individuals. Etc, etc.
Of course it is , that is because they are coming HERE!
It is generally accepted that 5% unemployment is full employment as there are always 5% unable or unwilling to work. If Mexico has full employment there must be many job opening there. Can we send the Americans collecting unemployment benefits in our inner cities to Mexico. You know the old saying, “turnabout is fair play!.”
