The 2014 race for Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District -- targeted by national Democrats as one they believe they can win -- is about to become more crowded and more interesting.
Paula Overby, who is a 59-year-old quality assurance analyst from Eagan, says she has nearly enough signatures on a petition to get on next year's Democratic primary ballot to compete for the congressional seat.
Overby, born a man who now identifies as a woman, believes she will be the first openly transgendered person from Minnesota to run for Congress.

Wonder what it looks like in a bikini?
Which cockus will she join?
Paul(a), uh, after 8 years of Hillary, our first woman president, it is your turn to do 8 years as our first whatever you are. America loves “firsts” so you are wise running for office. You will be first in line for president.

Nice jaw.
Lock IT up.
IT is a whackjob.
We had a man turned woman run as a Republican in south Florida a couple years back.....actually owns a construction company down here.
This District is the one immediately south of Minneapolis/ St. Paul. It is currently held by John Kline (R), who has held the seat for over ten years. He won in 2012 54%-46%. He is deeply conservative (he passes all known Freeper smell tests) in a conservative district (MN-2 is where conservative Minnesotans went to escape the liberal hell-hole of Hennipen county).
The democrats have a better chance of taking Texas, if they're going to run an abomination in MN-2.
Didn’t Kline vote FOR the stimulus bailout and the NDAA ?
No, Kline (from Minnesota) voted against the 2009 Obama Stimulus. Perhaps you are thinking of Klein (from Florida) who voted for it.
I think Kline voted for the Bush stimulus in 2008, but very few republicans voted against the Bush bill. The Bush stimulus was mostly a tax rebate, if you recall, with some funding for small businesses.
What’d they do, carve a “cleavage” in IT’s chest?
I don’t know.
And I don’t want to know.
Man hands.
It looks like Libby Mitchell.
