E-cigs are taxed like regular products
Cigarettes are taxed $1.01/pack (federal)
Combined NY State and City tax is at $5.85/pack
That's some high tax revenue there.
New York City sales tax is 8.875%
For a $10 e-cig - that's only 89 cents.
