Putin holds an interesting press conference in this video. A lot different than Obama's press conferences.

More mature than Obama.

My other observation is that this ex-KGB big-wig was MORE TRANSPARENT than the Prez of the USA.

THINK about that.

I found myself agreeing with most of what he said, except for Iran. Totally disagree with him there. And I didn't listen to the Syria part yet. But he seems a lot more like a leader than Obama does. He even answered the question on his divorce.

Interesting that he thought Russians were more spiritual than Americans.

I watched the whole video and agree Putin acts mature, analytical, unruffled and unimpressed by posturing Prima Donna dictatorial heads of state.

He seems to classify Iran as an impotent braggart regarding Israel, but indicates mistrust on their choice for enriching uranium. Maybe an admission that he can't control everything.

On the whole he makes Obama, American Democrats and some Republicans look like preschoolers fighting over blocks.

I could not turn this off. These journalists and Putin grasped some of most important global issues and discussed them factually and unvarnished. This type of dialogue could never be allowed to happen in the U.S.

-— Interesting that he thought Russians were more spiritual than Americans. ——

Long suffering does that, which is why Eastern Europe is sober, especially when compared to the West.

As Western influence grows, the East will be corrupted. It seems like Vlad is trying to stave it off.

Propaganda versus propaganda

Vlad does a better job.

I don't think our journalists are capable of asking the same type of questions. And Obama needs his teleprompter.

strangely self hating personal praise through the hate and destruction satisfaction of America.

"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.

The first stage being "demoralization".

It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism.

Most of the activity of the department [KGB] was to compile huge amount / volume of information, on individuals who were instrumental in creating public opinion.  Publisher, editors, journalists, uh actors, educationalists, professors of political science.  Members of parliament, representatives of business circles.... "
--KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov
--Soviet Subversion of the Free Press (Ideological subversion, Destabilization, CRISIS - and the KGB)

demoralization

Are we there yet?

Dittos on this end. Watched the whole thing. Even if you didn’t agree with everything, it was compelling. These reporters weren’t holding anything back.

Here’s what I found most interesting:

* That RT says most of it’s audience is American.

* Snowden didn’t expose anything the Russians didn’t already know.

* He spoke openly about his faith and the faith of the Russian people.

* Made note that their diplomatic missions are not used to influence domestic policies in other countries. (Say what you want, but Russia has an embassy open in every country on earth. We can’t exactly say that these days.)

Vlad seems to have a better grasp on our history than even our politicians, He’s clearly got a better handle on world-affairs. And I also agree that media folks here don’t have the brains (let alone guts) to even come up with questions like those.

Yeah, it’s probably better that the part-time occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave not meet with him. It would be too embarrassing for America.

“These journalists and Putin grasped some of most important global issues and discussed them factually and unvarnished. This type of dialogue could never be allowed to happen in the U.S..”

This is the problem, we have no real journalists in ABCNNBCBS and even worse in the print media controlled by the viral left wing progressives in the NY/LA Slimes, Compost and most other print media.

The mediots posing as journalists are progressive flacks and shills. They hate America, business, Christians, real Jews, our military and anything that is good.

They push the new normal which becomes more decadent each day.

If we had real journalists in the media, there would have been no stalling on Benghazi, IRS, NSA, and other criminal activities posing as advancements. Obamacare would have died in Pelosi’s botox ODed brain.

If we had real journalists, Obama would not have been elected even as a $inator. They would have ferreted out his dark past and showed him to be a phoney.
