If I am at home alone with the kids and someone manages to get through ADT, could I throw fireworks at the intruder. If intruder flees, I still make a police report.

I'm still a little squeamish about firing a gun.

But there are kids here. I would get over feeling squeamishness pretty quickly.

If I through fireworks and intruder doesn't flee or show signs of leaving, I would YELL - IDENTIFY YOURSELF. Then I would fire and maybe throw another firework!

The fireworks would give me a little time to get the gun out.

But the den, the kitchen, the breakfast room, the bookshelves, etc. would suffer greatly from fireworks!
