The delusion is strong in this one.

-— I’m serious, Carlos Danger for Mayor and Client #9 for comptroller is EXACTLY what NY deserves.-—

I’m with you. There’s still enough time for the “this is old news” schtick.

Thoughts going through Carlo’s mind:

- I can’t believe I’m expected to do this myself.
- I can’t believe I have to even talk to these lowlifes.
- I can’t wait to look up some porn on my laptop
- I can’t stand not being surrounded by my upper class friends
- I hope this a-hole doesn’t say something the media will hear.
- I can’t wait to look up some porn on my laptop

I agree. If a pervert or an angry lesbian is the best they can do for mayor, then they can have at it. Or, Heaven forefend, they could actually vote for the Republican. But they won’t.

As he scanned his staff-prepared list of apartment numbers and corresponding residents' names, the candidate shook his head in disapproval.

"This is no good, the way you have this organized," he said to one of two young, female aides who were accompanying him. “This is N.G. -- not great.”

So when he gets a crushing defeat it is all his staff's... er, campaign workers' fault.

The woman’s response was directed at the candidate, but Weiner seemed intent upon deflecting it -- along with the rest of the mostly negative vibe that permeated his visit -- onto his earnest young staffers.

yup- and the texting scandal was the result of Andrew Briebart hacking your phone, right dick, i mean weiner??

That was then. This is now. Are you predicting a Republican will be elected mayor of NYC in this election?

No. Wee wee has to drop out or do a serious spin, crash and burn in the election. Tax Chick and I are down for a C-Note apiece to Free Republic when that happens.

It would be great if others would join in on this. Spread the word please.

I think one of the NY newspapers said, “Weiner Goes Limp”. The jokes just write themselves! The guys who write these lines must look forward to going to work. They will be disappointed when Weiner rides off into the sunset.

Read the comments after the story. There ares some good ones.

He’s still in the race, so I’m holding on to my money.

When’s the primary?

This stopped being a campaign weeks ago. It’s now a reality show.

You read it here first.

On the list of Robert Hare’s Psychopathy Checklist are impulsiveness, superficial charm, grandiosity, callousness, manipulative character, lack of true remorse, poor behavioral control, egocentricity, and propensity for blaming others. Wiener will probably never have to worry about it though because he will be too busy blaming others like this to have even a tinge of remorse to consider it.

Was Giuliani a Democrat?

No, but he isn't a conservative either. Don't forget when Rudy first ran, Dinkins and years of progressive mis-rule had turned NYC into a sewer. Remember the squeegee men everywhere? Remember Al Sharpton's Crown Heights riots when Dinkins basically told the cops to stand down? By that time NY was fed up with Dinkins and he was running for a 3rd term.

Fast forward to today, most NYrs are too young to recall how bad things got in the 60s -70s and 80s , It was Rudy who turned things around with things like stop and frisk, and the fixing of pot holes and graffiti. Progressives fought him on these things every step of the way, and they're still fighting these programs. Bloomberg may be a dictator but he's a businessman too, he knows that if business leaves NY, bye bye tax base. NY progressives hate business and capitalism, so yes they'll vote for the pervert or the new-age lesbian, and think they're making things better (remember OWS started in NY)
