The Economics of No-Growth

WASHINGTON — Last Sunday the New York Times released a picture of President Barack Obama giving an interview to its reporters in Galesburg, Illinois. Truth be told, he looked surprisingly gaunt. Not to put too sharp a point on it, but he looked desperate! He was in Galesburg to launch another series of speeches on the economy, which reportedly grew at an anemic 1.8 percent in the first quarter and is predicted to have grown even more slowly in the second quarter. During the economic recoveries of the Reagan-Clinton years, the economy grew at 3-4 percent. Our president spoke in Galesburg about income inequality. He ought to be concerned about growth for everyone, not only the middle class or the down and out. The problem is the economy is growing too slowly for everyone.

On Monday he had Hillary Rodham Clinton over to the White House for a mysterious luncheon. It was not made known what they talked about, but my guess is that he asked her for the services of her highly accomplished make-up artist. The creases in her forehead and face run deep from her decades of service to the Clintons’ great cause, namely, winning public office and putting a damper on all the attendant scandals that follow. She has subdued the collateral damage admirably. Now she can come to the aid of the President by handing over her gifted cosmetician. His needs grow with every quarter of economic inactivity.

In historic Galesburg, as he began what must be his seventh or eighth effort to get the American people to swallow his economic hogwash, the strain has been obvious.

Democrats and their fellow travelers don't mind existing in a living hell as long as their side is running the show.

This creature in the White House has dragged the car (US) out of the ditch, filled it with Widows and Orphans, put a Bomb in it and shoved it over the Abyss to Zimbabwe status, on its way to Mogadishuville. Last stop: North Korea, or the Twilight Zone.

America's inner Cities have become African Failed States. Friday and Saturday nights in the eternal vacationer's home base of Chicago, look more like the Arab Spring than an American City. Stockton California (among others) has been turned into a Third World Banana Republic. While, to the north, Detroit will now be the place you wanna go if your Filming anything Post Apocalyptic.

He Hates this Country, Hates Whites, and Hates Jews, despises Christians and loves Islam. He will be final result of elected a nobody racist as president. He is one raised by Communists and Muslims, Mentored by Marxists, and taken under the wing of a fallen Jew who's "Best time of my life" was helping the Nazis with their Final Solution.

God help the United States!

When an inflation factor is included in the growth equation, the real growth is lower and may actually get lost in the precision constant.

As the number diminishes, the precision of the various factors becomes dominant in the total valuation. They simply can’t calculate a precise value for such a small %.

Good morning.

When an inflation factor is included in the growth equation, the real growth is lower and may actually get lost in the precision constant.

Then take away $85 Billion a month, and voila, no growth at all. May even be negative.

Forget about Obama for a moment. This problem is much bigger than one jug-eared nitwit in the White House.

Economic growth is a function of just two factors: (1) population growth, and (2) productivity growth.

Our demographic profile has gradually turned upside down as our population ages, so we are effectively in a spiral of decline that isn't likely to change anytime soon.

America is being strangled to death. That’s the plan.

He looks gaunt, Mr Tyrell, because he has what years ago in Chicago used to be called “the Slims.” In other words, HIV. And where do you suppose he picked that up?
