Just reading the excerpt I got lost. It does ramble and jump around. I wish reporters would just report the facts in a clear and concise report.

“... He must be hung, drawn, quartered, minced...”

The correct word is hanged.

Is hanged.
Was hanged.
Shall be hanged.

Otherwise you are describing the size of his - unit, if you catch my drift...

From Blazing Saddles:
“They said you was hung!”

“They were right!”

I had the same thought.

And that’s if we trust WND that this actually happened at all.

One important piece of information that is missing - what is the race of the Green Bay cops?

"We’re two small white guys and you got a crowd of black guys up there."

According to the story the white cops (two small white guys) are from Minneapolis.

The black mob is from Green Bay.

No mention as to the race of the Green Bay cops.

No, a black mob did not target off duty police officers.

It appears that two off duty Minneapolis policemen were drinking at a bar in Green Bay. They got into an argument with some black folks (one news item says a couple black men, one says nine), and one of the policemen escalated the argument by punching one of the black men. The police report says there was a scuffle, but I can’t find mention of any injuries reported by any participant or any indication that any other blows occurred other than the first blow by the off duty police officer.

It appears that the black folks left and the off duty police officers were offended that the black folks weren’t arrested. So the off duty police officers went to the police station and tried to get the Green Bay police to somehow arrest the black folks whose names were never taken. The off duty police officers were instead told that if anyone were to be arrested, it would be them for disorderly conduct. (Gee, you start the punching and somehow you’re the disorderly party? Who knew?)

In other words, if WND wants to publicize an incident of black mob crime against poor innocent bystanding white folks, they chose the wrong story in this case.
