The 106 seems to have been a vastly under-appreciated airplane. I wonder if the resemblance is all that coincidental?

If I'm not mistaken, I think Bush flew the F-102.

the Kfir is based upon the French Mirage. the Israelis began to upgrade the Mirages it had and then came up with the Kfir, a highly modified & improved version of the Mirage.
