This is what I’m afraid of. Cotton may be a GOP-e. In which case he’ll get in and be there for years.

He’s got an OK record. But I don’t think he’s the next Ted Cruz.

However at this point anyone is better than Pryor.

Well, it’s a reality of our days, friend. And unless the GOP at large grows a big set of cajones and fights for every election, every time, every where - like the Dems do - it’ll just be lather-rinse-repeat every election.

“...But I don’t think he’s the next Ted Cruz...”

Doesn’t have to be. All he has to do is be an American, represent the interests of his constituents and block everything the commie Dems try to shove down our throats - which, when you think of it, is what a real American should ALWAYS do. All he has to do is DO HIS JOB.

And yeah, I realize that’s a lot to ask of anyone in this graceless day and age...

Sorry to break it to you - Tom Cotton is most decidedly a RINO:

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3050880/posts

In a twice-weekly column for the Harvard Crimson, Cotton — who has been called a “Republican’s dream” by National Review and an “extraordinary figure” by the Weekly Standard — criticized politicians for not doing enough to oppose tobacco and wrote a laudatory 1996 piece praising Bill and Hillary Clinton.

“Bill Clinton is the most successful campaigner of our time because he is the most sincere campaigner of our time,” Cotton wrote. He was especially taken with Hillary. “There could not be a more apposite instance for the phrase ‘Behind every good man lies a better woman.’” Hillary is “more organized, more disciplined, more thoughtful, and more faithful than he is.”
