It makes you wonder what the hell the public works guys do all day when they’re not inspecting the sewers for years and years on end.
They said there was only 5% capacity remaining due to the blockage, where the hell were they when there was 50% capacity remaining?
Probably sitting on their duffs waiting for retirement.

And politicians would rather spend our money on performing arts centers, museums, stadiums, or light rail than fix what needs fixing.
I also wonder if the low flush toilets contribute to sewer pipe problems (already happened in San Francisco), because there isn’t enough water to move all the gross stuff along.
It wouldn’t surprise me. Another unintended consequence of the green radicals’ bright ideas.
