In principle, I agree. But one of the few things keeping inflation down is the slave wages being paid to illegals (some are slaves BTW).

Somehow people managed to afford hamburger 40 years ago when inflation-adjusted wages in meat packing were twice what they are now.

Of course I am! I reconciled the absurdity of life when I started paying for a bottle of water. Imagine, selling water. Our water here is wonderful but still I find myself BUYING water. I am part of the absurdity. I keep forgetting! :o)
