I’m an 11 gallon donor. If the Red Cross allows HIV-infected blood into the system then I’ll stop donating. And so will a whole lot of other donors.

We should have learned this lesson from France.

When you ask the question, “How stupid can you get?”, the left keeps redefining the limits.

BTW: I’m aware of the recent studies on HIV blood donation and the statistical results. If you believe Wikipedia and the left you’ll believe anything. Better safe than sorry. And don’t tell me only a few people will get contaminated and infected. One is too many.

I grew up in a rurual area and a high school classmate lost her mother to HIV due to a Tainted Blood Donation in the early 80’s....

Screw PC Correctness, Epidemiology takes precendence...

We learned the lesson of Arkansas. Then Governor Clinton was getting kickbacks from the prison blood donor program.

The Canadians were NOT pleased when they found out they were getting contaminated blood from Arkansas...

I always liken it to continuing to play Russian Roulette, even after a few hundred chambers are added to the cylinder of the revolver.

Like you I`m a long term donor a bit over 15 gallons

including 70 something platelet donations and will also stop

if this proposal goes through.

Surely this insane idea goes nowhere.

I would love to see the list pf radicals who signed this.

I’d be Gallon Club except I was stationed in Germany in the 1980’s and later they decided that meant I was exposed to mad cow disease, so I can’t donate anymore. I keep going back to the Bloodmobile but that stupid rule hasn’t changed.

Meanwhile the AIDS faggies have their friends in Congress pushing for their right to contaminate the rest of us.

On a side note I read an article where a man walked out of Hardees eating a sausage biscuit and was accosted by a Muslim who berated him for eating pork. The man calmly reminded the muzzie that if he ever needed a blood transfusion that the vast majority of donors to the supply are pig-eating “infidels”.

The muzzie turned sickly green & ran off shrieking “Allah has put a seal on your heart!!”

Excellent point and this is a twist on the common leftist gun control talking point...”If only one life is saved”...
