See! When the shooter is white, the NYT has NO problems reporting the race of everyone involved.
That's OK.
However, when they shooter is black, such details are swept under the rug.
That is not OK. It's PC crap. Censorship.
It would be better to report the news as it is, as accurately and with as many details as possible.
This is not an entirely bad article despite its obvious bias.

More bias can be found in the title of the article.
"Teenager Shot and Killed by an Officer on Foot Patrol in the Bronx"
I know when I first read that the thought entered my mind that it was possibly an unjustified shooting. Read the article and you know the police shot an armed gang member who was in the process of attempting to murder someone. They very well could have saved a life. But the NY Times has its agenda.
