Intel community worried Obama administration disclosed too much about latest al Qaeda threat
The Washington Times ^ | August 3, 2013 | Lisa Ruth

In warning about possible al Qaeda attacks against Americans overseas, U.S. officials may have provided too much detail about intercepted chatter and the source of the information, and that may make it more difficult to get such tips next time, former and current intelligence officials say.

(snip)

Intelligence officials are dismayed that the administration provided so much detail on what prompted the closings, and that the disclosures could work against obtaining new information. Militants are now likely searching for the sources of the information to both the U.S. and Yemeni officials, and almost certainly will kill anyone they suspect of working with Western intelligence.

Of course, the Obongo regime is throwing its on-the-spot human intel sources under the bus in order to make a political point about the value of the NSA's domestic spying.

Soetoro doesn't give a flying fig.

He's the Masturbator-in-Chief. Everything he says and does is for his own self-gratification.

They already released a warning about the butt and vagina bombers a month ago.

You left off the most obvious reasons.

The White Hut can simultaneous play
NSA-DHS as the “boy who cried wolf”
to make Americans insensitive,
and to also teach al Qaeda the entire US response,
as a pre-test to improve their sigint and humint.

One moslem giving other moslems a heads up. That’s all that is going on here.

I’m thinking that the double agent is actually working at the White House. Maybe it IS...the White House.

Soetoro is SO concerned about the threat, he's throwing a massive birthday party for himself at Camp David.

All his rowdy boy friends are coming over.

MOTUS: Happy Birthday, Mr. Half-President

This is all about the Yemen bomber who now has a bunch of butt bombs and vagina bombs implanted in a bunch of muzzie nuts. The Embassy and Consulate shutdown is a distraction from the real threat.

make a political point about the value of the NSA’s domestic spying
*******
While at the same time using this as as a distraction to get past the numerous other scandals that are closing in on the administration. How convenient.

zer0 crowd and mb are tighter than the hat and hatband. Reason for saying of being one. Is always difficult to know where the hat begins in relation to the hatband if one is not being observant.

IMO this is all about countering the voices who want to curtail the NSA spying. Funny how a big threat always pops up at just the right time.

He could care less about those embassies and the people in them.

If he did in fact put out too much info, it was intentional. All he did was tip of those that he supports, so they can delay their plans.

When you stop and think about it, just how bad is the man and his admin, that we say the things we do about him? How much has he disgraced, not only the office but the country as a whole? As much as I find the comments on FR insightful and funny, they’re pretty scary in the sense that he has ruined this country.

If I bring up Reagan, there will be some that will bring up all sorts of stuff on him. Same thing about Bush. But, I’m thinking that if either of them were in office, instead of all the comments I’ve been reading, they’d be more like, “bring it on bitches, see what you get”. Its a shame that this man has been allowed to do this much damage.

So, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade! Get the word out that certain terrorist leaders are selling information to the west, and let their own minions do the killing for us.

Gee don’t you think that al Qaeda wouldn’t just change their timetable when it is trumpeted in the media that the US is girding up for an imminent attack? Now I’m sure al Qaeda has temporarily put things on hold and will carry out their plot when we least expect it.
