Crossroads Groups Raise $3.3 Million (Tokyo Rove's fundraising collapses!)

The American Crossroads PAC and its affiliate, Crossroads GPS, co-founded by Republican strategist Karl Rove, jointly raised a little over $3.3 million in the first half of 2013, according to federal reports, a little off their 2012 election pace.

Another political action committee founded by Mr. Rove, the Conservative Victory Project, raised little independent money so far this year. The Victory Project was established to help fund “electable” future Republican candidates in the wake of a number of losses last year of candidates who were popular with the right wing of the Republican Party but did not prevail in the general election.

Let's gloss over the catastrophic failure at the top of the ticket, as well as old-timers Connie Mack, George Allen and Tommy Thompson, who all ran horrific campaigns and did nothing to contribute to success on the presidential level in their states. Clearly the problem is the guy in Missouri (who wan't even the tea party candidate in the first place in the primaries, by the way. It was a divided vote with the Huckabee religious coalition walking away with the primary win).

I hope this is accurate, but I have my doubts. With or without Rove, more cash is flowing in to buy Republicans(amnesty dough), than I have ever seen in my lifetime.
