O.J. Simpson murdered two people, but for his crimes committed in Las Vegas, the sentences were far too severe. This current status is fair for the crimes for which he was actually convicted.
Um, 9-33 for armed robbery is not "too severe."
You can get sentenced to life for in a number of states.
