The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at a two-decade low of 6.8 percent in July. This matched economists' forecast. The unadjusted rate rose to 6.8 percent from 6.6 percent.
In a separate report on Wednesday, the Federal Statistical Officesaid thatGermany's adjusted ILO jobless rate remained unchanged at 5.4 percent in June.

Germany is the leading nation of continental Europe, and since Merkel is sitting on a 20 YEAR LOW for unemployment, one can only conclude Germany is going in the correct direction while we flounder.

Even more incredible is the fact that Germany is drawing workers from all over the EU; the Spanish government is encouraging any of its people that can work in Germany to do so. Then again, Germany still has a culture, norms, etc.
As much as i despise Obama one can’t look at Germany alone. In the context of the EU its a totally different story. The EURO has been set up for Germany to be the economic engine while the southern nations suffer through deficits and unemployment.
Even Germany has a high degree of Socialism in their economy (heavy unionization, and workers are given seat on the board in all large companies).
This article may be just more propaganda pushing us to do same.
