Anthony Weiner may have violated federal law when he failed to disclose his lavish six-figure wedding in his financial disclosure forms, says a government accountability group.
Ethics watchdog group National Legal and Policy Center examined the federal Financial Disclosure Reports for both Weiner and long-suffering wife Huma Abedin for 2010, the year of their wedding.
The cost for the ceremony was at least $100,000 but probably ran closer to $250,000 including all accommodations, clothing and extras. Neither Weiner nor Abedin had the resources to pay for the ultra-expensive wedding, yet neither recorded gifts on their Financial Disclosure Reports for that year.

I'm not a member of the Weiner/Huma fan club (...some how that didn't come out right...), but I just have to say 'huh?' about this one. It is the Government's business regarding how much you spend for your Wedding??
This is just another sign that our tax system is totally fouled up. Laying aside the fact that nearly half the population doesn't pay a Federal Income Tax, and that it is designed to steal from those that achieve based on their merits, - it is also overly complicated and intrudes into an individual's privacy.
It wasn’t a “marriage”....it was a MERGER....for political purposes....which means it really SHOULD have been reported to one of MANY agencies.
This should bump him up in the polls, afterall, 78% of young women approve of weiner.
