Notice that religions that view Jesus as their lord and savior are not out burning the flags of muslim countries or killing muslims in the name of God.

Good question. Without having read the book (and I won't), the only thing I can think of is to compare Him to Mohame-dingdong, unfavorably, of course.

They believe that Jesus is the Messiah promised to the Jews. They are correct in that a broken clock with a second hand is right for 2 seconds a day.

"Well, why would a muslim write a book about Jesus?"

Very few authors write a book for any reason other than to sell the book and make money. These authors will usually throw enough controversial information into their book to aggravate as many people as possible, as this aggravation will cause people to talk about their book and give it free advertisement.

The book trashes Jesus... basically says he wasn't the son of God. New York Times loved it - they forgot to mention it was written by a Muslim...(most of the ideas in the book are rehashed myths that float around the ME)

Why would a Christian write a book about mohamhead? Who cares?

But I won’t be reading his book. He’s still a muslim. I’ve read the quran and know all I need to know about the filth that’s called islam.

Islam acknowledges Jesus as a perfect man and a prophet. They just don’t accept that He is God’s Son. They cannot accept that God would allow His Son to be treated that way, so they believe he ascended into heaven, bypassing that whole crucifixion thingie.

Moehammhead had a vision, dream or brain fart that he went to Heaven and visited a bunch of saints. All bowed to him in servitude but “Issa” (Jesus) told him to ‘Suck off, you ain’t crap”. From that point on, the war was on. Lasted 2000 years,so far. Time to end it.
