A Bethesda man was beaten and robbed early Saturday morning in Adams Morgan by three men who yelled, “This is for Trayvon Martin,” before attacking him, police said.
The incident is being investigated as a hate crime and robbery, according to D.C. police spokesman Araz Alali.
Three black men approached an adult white male from behind while he was walking in the 1700 block of Euclid Street NW at 1:26 a.m. Saturday, police said.

They began claiming the exclusive “gated” neighborhood watch captain was a “white hispanic” . used a picture of a 12 year old Martin instead of the 6 foot 165 pound person he was vs the smaller 140 pound lttle fatty neighborhood watch captain. Worse yet allowed his US Attorney General to use questionable activities to promote a show trial and ignored using a threat of prosecution to black militant groups threatening the watch captain’s life.
Meanwhile attacks by black groups on selected happless white victims which wind in their death get ignored by the mainline socialist messengers MSM service and black on black killings many of the age of the so called victim is likewise same-o same-o.
Do not confuse todays politicians and their ahearants in the press and academia as followers of “Liberalism”. . I must agree with you Mr. Edd. This is one of the WORST verdicts I have seen in not such a long time. Zimmerman is a Nazi in American clothing. The fat pr*ck was out lookin to shoot somebody. What you say is true. It's not all blacks. But it is disproportionately a young black problem. The statistic that just cannot be ignored is that young black men, 3% of the population of the U.S., commit 50% of the murders.
I don't know about you but that causes me and most people including (I'm betting) most blacks to "profile" young black men and to avoid them particularly when they are in groups. It is just the rational thing to do.
The solution to this problem is not going to be found in the courts or by law enforcement. The black community is going to have to decide to bring back the black family and raise their children in households with a MALE member. I hope they do but I actually don't expect them to. To much political and social pressure to stay the course. Sad to say.

You are correct in everything except your description of the dysfunctional culture as a “sub culture”.
The real problem is that violent and dysfunctional culture is the dominant culture in today's Black community, not some subculure limited a to a small segment of the community.
The segment of the Black community that is hard working, educated, productive and plays buy the rules is the Black subculture in the Black community.

I live in north Texas. People intermarry here a lot. Caucasians, Koreans, Mexicans, Latinos, Cherokee, Creek, Sryians who left in the seventies, just all sorts of mixed race couples. With all manner of mixed race kids. Go to any Kohl’s or Target or Walmart. Or, for that matter, most churches here. That is what you see.
So, where I live the demarcation line is not as clear as what you are describing. Here, the black gangbangers frequently run with white or mixed meth heads - and the meth heads are every bit as unpredictable and dangerous as inner city ghetto dwellers.
