CHICAGO (CBS) – An Illinois state representative has publicly raised the possibility that Chicago police officers might be the ones responsible for the unsolved murders of black youths in Chicago.
State Rep. Monique Davis (D-Chicago) was interviewed about Chicago crime Tuesday on WCHB-AM in Detroit.
“I’m going to tell you what some suspicions have been, and people have whispered to me: they’re not sure that black people are shooting all of these children,” Davis said.
“There’s some suspicion – and I don’t want to spread this, but I’m just going to tell you what I’ve been hearing – they suspect maybe the police are killing some of these kids.”
When WBBM asked Davis if she thinks it’s possible that police are killing children, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t know that they are, and I don’t know that they aren’t, since no one’s been arrested. We don’t know who’s doing it.”

Earlier this month, Davis called on Gov. Pat Quinn to call out the National Guard to assist Chicago police in fighting violent crime in the city.
She suggested the governor and Mayor Rahm Emanuel could appoint a blue-ribbon panel – including former Police Superintendents Terry Hillard and Jody Weis, along with religious leaders, teachers, and others – to direct the day-to-day operations of National Guard members sent to Chicago to fight crime.

I think the entire Liberal establishment is sitting on the edge of a precipice waiting to fall (like Detroit). Their entire approach to life and reality is poison yet rather than grow and develop real solutions (which takes, at a minimum, the identification of the source of the problem), they merely continue to blame others.

The problem will never get fixed until the people who are actually responsible TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! Obviously this woman isn’t responsible but she is deflecting the responsibility onto those who aren’t guilty. Why ever would the police be doing the shooting? I suspect a large percentage of Chicago police are Black. Typical Dem, blaming everyone else but those who are guilty.

In my younger days, the deign of miscrant black youths was the black cop on the beat. Black detectives I worked with were embarrassed over what they saw in their “communities” and with which they disagreed because they felt it held them back. It is no different than other minorities either.
Ethnic Italian police were at the front of fighting the Mafia. Unfortunately this “community policing and politicing” seems to have vanished over the past few decades, and for that I have not a clue.

According to Wikipedia (I know, but gotta start somewhere) the Chicago police force is only 49% white, 29% black, 19% Hispanic, and 3% other. So if she is accusing the cops of doing the shooting, she should be aware that half of those cops are minorities.
