Telling the army to negotiate with Morsi and the MB to share power is similar to telling the Shah to work with Khomeini. In that part of the world, you have winners and losers. There is no middle ground. If the MB ever got back into power, you can bet there would be retribution against the military. This is a life and death struggle—not some academic exercise in conflict resolution.

Not that I’d try to lecture the Egyptian army, but I bet they have dossiers on all the MB leadership and propagandists who are always speaking up for them...

They probably need to whack all of them this week.

Seriously? Yes. The situation will come down to whack or be whacked. Seriously.

I so don’t believe that Muslim Brotherhood wouldn’t be doing such terrible things if somebody, maybe somebody at the State Department, wasn’t surreptitiously supporting them.

Just my inner thoughts....

IMHO the military coming to power in Egypt could conceivably save the country from a sure but slow death with the MB in power. They are the root cause of sharia and discord in nearly every dirtbag third world muzzie enclave over there. If you wanted to clean up the mid east you start with them.
