Coming to the point where you cannot say anything that could possibly be construed as negative to a “certain special minority group”. How ridiculous is that?

So if this law passed, and I say I don’t like someone that turns out is a flaming poop pushing faggot, but I don’t specify why they can turn on me and say “he doesn’t like me because I’m gay”. Not because they are incompetent, or emotional, or unfit for the work, but because they are “gay”. I’ll lose my job, they will continue to work. Ridiculous.

How have we let this happen?

We've completely lost sight of the purpose of the First Amendment -- you are supposed to be able to stand up and voice opposition to the things which you don't like in society.

Shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theater? Fine. Restrict such speech. I understand the need.
Saying, "Faggots are ruining society"? Why the heck can't I say that?
