If the Founders were still around, my guess is there would be a whole lot of “Trees of Liberty” in NY getting watered soon after this traitorous announcement!

This is the direct result of one party rule. There is nothing to stop them from doing whatever it is they want to do.
The Democrats are buying votes with tax payer money. They believe (and polls confirm) illegal aliens will vote for Democrats legally (after amnesty) or illegally.
Republicans have been neutered and so the last line of defense against all this is the media. Unfortunately for New York (and us) the media has already tossed the pretext of being fair and balance, they are in full voice as cheerleaders for the left.
To them, the end justifies the means. If bribing illegals means more votes for Democrats then that is what they will support.

Geez, what next? I think at this point, if I saw a headline saying, “$18 billion program to transfer homes from Americans to undocumented immigrants,” it wouldn’t even surprise me. What’s La Raza’s motto? “For the race, everything; for those outside the race, nothing”? Our government seems to have adopted it and taken it one further. “For illegals, everything. For hardworking, taxpaying Americans? Screw you.”
