I disagree that Fast and Furious was aimed at the drug cartels. It was intended to facilitate the expansion of more stringent gun control in the US.

Hence, Holder proposed the idea of knocking out the Mexican Drug Cartels power at the US/Mexico Border, and making a “Grand Bargain” with the Drug Cartel’s controlled Mexican Politicians for a generous slice of the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and Drugs previously controlled by the Mexican Drug Cartels.
BTW, why would Commie Obama use one his Executive Orders to protect Holder from a curious US House investigation?
