I always wonder, whenever some horrible person dies, why we have to pretend they were so “good”. Not saying anything bad about the dead is one thing, but pretending helen thomas was anything but an anti-semitic leftist hag is a lie.

I suspect Jesus did it because He could and to show his Lordship, but it changed nothing for most people. Very few people have the perception it takes to be a believer and less to live like one...takes a rare human being. In my life, I’ve known about a half dozen or so. But it is a really neat experience that takes place during a true conversion...and I am glad that God allows us to be a part of it.
