Amash said his measure would allow the NSA to collect data and records, but only if the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court said in a statement that the collection of data pertains to an individual under investigation. Otherwise, the NSA would lose its funding.

Amash’s amendment would defund the NSA if the agency collected data and records from individuals who were not under official investigation. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court would be required to provide a statement confirming that the data being collected by the NSA is from a person under investigation.

Those who want to repeal this bill should go to the well and explain the sudden outcry that is in favor of putting a stop to these invasions.

If not for Fast and Furious, IRS, Benghazi, etc., we would probably just live on. But with these agencies perceived to be using the data to control political opponents, America just doesn’t trust enough to just live on.

Instead, get the NSA to use its vast data to solve, explain, and get to the bottom of Fast and Furious, IRS, Benghazi etc.

I’d like to see that.

The problem is that NSA has the discretion to determine “who are the bad guys”.

Given Obama’s war on America and conservative citizens, internal surveillance can NOT be permitted.
