liberal rich people who can (and in most cases will willingly) be taxed to the gills if needed to keep the city solvent.

One day I saw a liberal with his hands in his own pockets.. Never mind the fact that I am in Minnesota and it was -25 out.

Rich liberals are the tightest bunch with their money bar none. They’ll leave before they fork out more.

What Oakland has that they don’t is many beautiful neighborhoods full of lots of liberal rich people who can (and in most cases will willingly) be taxed to the gills if needed to keep the city solvent.

Indeed. One of my daughters lived in one of those ritzy Oakland neighborhoods for years before recently moving. I couldn't believe all the fancy stores, restaurants, and crowds of (non-black) people spending money without worry. A few miles away it's the opposite story.
