The line at my post office is already out the front door everyday.

They are incompetant.

My personal opinion is that the lack of incentive is a big part of poor service from government-run services. If employees got paid more money at the post-office for helping more people in a shorter time, you would see a lot better service.

The line at my post office is already out the front door everyday.

It's not that bad where I am but you can count on there being two people, if that, with three empty work stations and postal employees casually doing their business in the back room, and long lines of irate people.

If it was a private business the manager would yank people out of the back room and hustle them up front to serve the customers.
