I do agree with you in that losing our foundation in Christ has brought untold chaos. And yes, only HE can right this awful turmoil. I never advocated for anyone else to be harmed in return, nor am I suggesting anyone run wild and spread the news about TM and his life. I will simply stating that to allow a white wash of his life, adds fuel to the raging fire that he was a victim of big bad GZ.

Thanks for your response and on this we can agree.

I took your earlier statement to mean that “moderate Muslims” must denounce the radical ones in order to prove moderate ones exist. But their silence is deafening. Granted.

Not all black people are part of the black mobs demanding more and more “rights” and handouts nor among those who refuse to look in the mirror to see what is destroying black youth is today’s black culture. There are many conservative and Christian blacks who are not part of that crowd. My point is that they should not be treated with contempt merely because they share the same color as those who are guilty. And further, they are in no way obligated to denounce the black mobs or the racialist leaders just to prove that not all black people are like that.

Conservatism asserts individual, personal responsibility. This includes the idea that a conservative black person is in no way responsible for the behavior of other black people just because they share the same pigmentation.

This is a conservative view, not the consequence of being “brainwashed by the left.”

“The penalty for apostasy in Islam is death.”

But it is a possibility. And the death penalty is unlikely to be carried out in many places such as the USA. Further, the penalty for staying Muslim is eternal hellfire.

On the other hand, a person cannot change their ethnicity.

That’s how Bill Clinton became the first “black” president, because black is the new red (i.e. communist red). And, to the communists and socialists, conservative blacks are traitors to their race.

Have heard that GZ is Jewish - others deny it.

Whatever he is that’s his business, but if he is Jewish, Christian, or agnostic but feels the hand of the Almighty working in his life, I would respectfully suggest that he investigate what seems to be a revival of the ancient Faith before it was significantly co opted and compromised by Babylonian and Roman establishment religiosity and power mongering politics.

IMHO this return to the roots of our christianity or the spiritual completion of the Jewish tradition is another indication that we are probably in the “end times” of Biblical prophecy.

Commonly known as the “Messianic” movement, this “Hebraic Christianity” has been persecuted and slaughtered nearly to extinction over the 2000 years since Yeshua’s (AKA “Jesus”) earthly ministry.
Although it remains the subject of hatred and derision by most religions, Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) seems to be calling believers of all stripes back to the Faith of the Prophets and our Messiah in spite of the risks.

Anyone seeking to learn more about Hebraic roots in FL might inquire @:

http://messianic.meetup.com/cities/us/fl/orlando/

Bear in mind that Messianics, like any other denomination, don’t agree on every point of doctrine or practice. Some are strictly Torah observant, keeping Kosher and adhering to the Mosaic law quite literally, while others who consider followers of Yeshua to be out from under the letter of the “law” don’t hold gentile believers to quite the same legalistic standards.

Follow the Spirit in seeking light.

Prayers up for the Zimmermans; May HaShem bless even this time of fiery trial to their empowerment and His glory.
May the Shalom of Yeshua displace any fear that may be invading their hearts at the moment.
Fear is of darkness and the devil - Peace (Shalom) is of Love and light. The two are incompatible and mutually exclusive.

As light displaces darkness, so Love (I Cor. 13, I Jn. 4:7-8 et al) displaces fear.

Shalom ~ GV

I’m so glad you mentioned that since, then, conversely, I would not be obligted to denounce white racist groups just to prove that not all white groups are like that. Sounds a little silly, right? But , isn’t that what you are saying?

RE 220: Right on!

Just ask Allan West, Herman Cain, Allan Keyes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Keyes , Clarence Thomas
or any other Black Conservative how easy it is to shed their cultural blackness regardless of their ethnicity.

Escaping the leftist plantation is vehemently discouraged by the powers that be, and escapees are routinely punished in a variety of ways.

Aside from how the left is using the term, “white Hispanic,” I do know that police departments use the term white or light Hispanic to differentiate from a darker skinned Hispanic when dispatching police officers to a service call, so that they can be on the lookout for the perp from the description given of his/her appearance. The hell with the word “profiling.” If you're looking for someone, you describe him/her to your best ability. In the case of Trayvon Martin case, the left used the term “white” to insinuate that a Hispanic with Caucasian blood was the shooter of a “young black man.” Depends on the your reason for using any term.. The left had to attempt to establish that Caucasian had something to do with Martin's death.

“then, conversely, I would not be obligted to denounce white racist groups just to prove that not all white groups are like that.”

If you are part of a group that happens to be all white it is still just a group of people unless being white is a criterion for membership or participation. So, no, you are not obligated to denounce white racist groups to prove that not all white PEOPLE are like that. But perhaps that is what you meant. If by “white group” you mean that being white is a requirement to be part of the group, then it is racist by definition (which incidentally makes something like a scholarship exclusively for blacks racist).

“But , isn’t that what you are saying?”

No. How did you infer that from any of my comments?

Our conversation began when you responded to my response to beandog in #176. In #179 you quoted beandog’s quote but may have thought it was from me. I’m not sure. Either way I don’t see what I said that could have given you that impression.
